BEIJING, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Zhao Leji Thursday met with Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa after the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) concluded Tuesday.

China stands ready to work with Tanzania to promote the Belt and Road Initiative and implement the outcomes of the summit so as to elevate China-Tanzania and China-Africa cooperation to a new level, said Zhao, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

Noting that the summit manifests that China will work with other countries to promote reform and development, and build a community with a shared future for humanity, Majaliwa said Tanzania hopes to learn from China's experience in governance and poverty reduction and deepen the bilateral cooperation.
